03 — Craft
Made by hand.
Defined by patience.
Every Lumexa piece begins not at a screen but at a worktable.
Every Lumexa piece begins not at a screen but at a worktable. The first stage is always hand-drawing — a gesture that forces the maker to understand weight, tension, and the behavior of wire before a single element is cut.
There are no industrial shortcuts. Nodes are hand-soldered one at a time. Suspension lines are tuned by eye and touch. A single medium-sized piece requires between 60 and 180 hours of work.
"We are not manufacturing light fixtures. We are building objects that happen to carry light."
